Château Mourgues du Grès

Château Mourgues du Grès is nestled between vineyards, orchards and garrigue in the foothills of the Costières de Nîmes region. The motto of its sundial, "Sine Sole Nihil" (Nothing Without Sun), celebrates the Mediterranean climate, with excellent ripeness for naturally gourmet wines.

Our winemaking practices are guided by the principles of biodynamic viticulture, in which we listen to nature and encourage biodiversity to flourish. The vines draw their strength from this pebbly terroir (Grès in Provençal), which contributes to the balance and minerality of our wines. The magic of blending, through the great diversity of grape varieties, sublimates their personality. This alchemy is what makes our wines so rich.

Winegrower's picnic:
With a Provencal accent, this picnic includes tapenade, brandade de Nîmes, vegetables, olive terrine, goat's cheese, olive oil, estate fruit... to be enjoyed under the arbour in the courtyard or in the vineyard. It is preceded by a tour of the vineyard and cellar, followed by a wine tasting. Fee payable on reservation.

Share our passion during a moment of escape: let us guide you to the heart of the terroir (in the vineyards, weather permitting) where tasting will take on its full meaning. Visit the cellar and winery. Tasting of 5 wines accompanied by Provencal specialties: tapenade toast, brandade de Nîmes... Fee payable on reservation.
