In 1989, architects Vittorio Gregotti and Marc Chausse chose to build an English-style stadium for soccer and rugby. The spectator is very close to the playing area.

This international-standard stadium, with a capacity of 20,000 (including 12,000 covered), incorporates ancillary sports facilities in its four built-up corners.
