Nîmes
Here, from one end of the square to the other, two monumental heads face each other. They represent Nemausa, the source of Nîmes' origins, and the god Nemausus, the city's male force.
It's the place of Nîmes' symbols, scattered here and there as you discover them. Designed in 1989 by visual artist Martial Raysse, this beautiful space is criss-crossed from end to end by a flow of water.
